Two people arrested for theft from a jewelry store in Malaga
POLICE arrested two people for alleged theft from a jewelry store in Malaga.
National police officers arrested the two armed robbery suspects following the jewelry thefts in Malaga.
The couple allegedly broke into the establishment, located on Carretera de Cadiz, to take three jewels worth around € 2,200.
The incident took place in April, when two suspects entered the store, where they allegedly expressed interest in various jewelry. One of them then returned to the premises with the intention of purchasing several items, but when the seller showed them to him, he took out a gun and threatened him before leaving with the jewelry.
He allegedly managed to steal three jewels, while his companion waited outside.
The first investigations carried out by the police and the expert opinions delivered by specialized agents of the Scientific Police, made it possible to identify the two suspects, which led to their arrest.
The couple, aged 18 and 30 and both of Spanish nationality, were handed over to the judiciary, which ordered jail for one of the suspects.
