Son of elderly man found stabbed in Malaga arrested
National police arrested the son of an elderly man who was found dead in his house with stab wounds.
Yesterday, Thursday August 5, national police arrested the son, a 54-year-old Spaniard, of an elderly man who was found stabbed at his home in the capital Malaga.
National police arrested the man for his alleged responsibility in the crimes of murder and theft of the 89-year-old man yesterday at 1:30 p.m., according to police sources.
Homicide officers found the suspect in a building in the city center of the capital Malaga. The investigation is currently still ongoing to uncover the events surrounding the man’s death, police sources said.
The events unfolded on Tuesday August 3, when the old man was found at his home with stab wounds in the neighborhood of El Atabal, in the capital of Malaga.
Police were looking for the son for his alleged role in the crime. Forensic pathologists attended the scene to collect fingerprints and DNA.
Malaga health workers could only confirm the man was dead but could not confirm the causes, according to the Malaga Hoy.
The news comes as a revenge fight ends in stabbing and arrest in Almeria.
Civilian officers from the Guardia d’Almeria arrested a 39-year-old for stabbing a 35-year-old victim during a fight in the Almeria municipality of Gador.
Guardia Civil officers received a call from 062 Almeria Communications Center (COS) which alerted them to a fight that had broken out in a hotel in Gador, and that a person had been stabbed.
