Irish woman shares Ryanair luggage hack that will save you loads of money

Ryanair is great for a cheap and easy flight, but one thing that is really frustrating is their baggage policy.

Currently, Ryanair only allows passengers to carry a small bag that they can store under the seat, unless they pay extra for hand luggage.

Although a hand luggage is not always essential, for more than one day or night most people would want one.

However, now there is a way for you to avoid paying extra for bringing a 10kg hand luggage.

TikToker Cloda Scanlon (@orangeobviously) has posted her nifty trick to saving a massive amount of money when planning a vacation.

Ryanair’s initial booking option allows passengers to select their seats and baggage. If you wait and choose “advantageous rate”, you can add luggage later.

Cloda explains in the video: “If you want to save €40-€60 on your next Ryanair flight plus that 10kg bag, then keep listening.

“So I almost paid €192 for my flights and instead, for the exact same flight with exactly the same number of bags, I will only pay €133.

“So go to the Ryanair app and do as normal – choose your flights, choose your dates. Instead, go back to the booking page and choose the discounted fare, which does not include a 10 piece bag. kg.”

After that, if you click on continue, you will be redirected to a new page where you can manually add the 10 kg for only 13 €.

“This is instead of what was €22 per person per trip, so go for a small bag and the great fare, then go all the way to the end of the booking page to click on your 10kg option” , explained Cloda.
