CASPER, Wyo.– A “Natrona County Donation Celebration” will be held from 2-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 at the Backwards Distilling Co. Tasting Room, located at 214 S. Wolcott St. in Casper.
The fundraiser is being held as a way for the community to support 40 nonprofit organizations in Natrona County in conjunction with WyoGives Day. People will have the chance to learn more about nonprofits and donate money to support their work online.
Additionally, Backwards will donate $1 from every drink sold during the event to support non-profit organizations. The Holy Guacamole food truck will be on site. People of all ages can attend. Spanish translation and ASL interpretation will be available. The rear is accessible to the ADA, and those needing additional accommodations can contact Tyler Cessor at [email protected] to request one. There is an option to RSVP for the online event.

Statewide WyoGives Day is a 24-hour online fundraising event that aims to support more than 250 nonprofit organizations in Wyoming.
“On July 13 from 12 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., individuals can give to more than 250 Wyoming nonprofits on wyogives.org and watch their donations go a long way,” the press release announcing the event reads. “All donations made today will be matched by the Hughes Charitable Foundation up to $1 million. Nonprofits will also have their own fundraising goals which will include matchmaking and community challenges.
“A full list of participating nonprofits and additional resources are available at wyogives.org. WyoGives Day donations must be made through the online resource to count towards the day of the donation and have the opportunity to be matched.
